Truman and the Atomic Bomb
Jon Stewart, of the Comedy Central TV program The Daily Show, recently asserted that President Harry Truman was a war criminal for dropping two atomic bombs on Japan.
I don't give a damned about Stewart's cute and fuzzy little leftist propaganda puppet show or what Jon-Boy thinks, says, or does. What I do care about is properly researched history delivered within the true context of the times in which the events occurred.
Bill Whittle has delivered a video rebuttal and, what I think, the best assessment of exactly what happened in Nagasaki and Hiroshima in 1945.
